Route description
Burgundy is situated in the central part of France and can be reached in several ways. A route that many people take is the A6 from Paris to Lyon. Between Auxerre and Dijon you will find on the A6 about 4 different exits, that all lead your to and through the Morvan. Most convenient is to follow the direction Autun. From the south of Paris it will take less than 4 hours to arrive at Fontaine la Mère. The total journey will of course depend on where you live.
From Autun to Fontaine la Mère
(30 minutes)
In Autun you follow the signs "Nevers / Moulins". This leads you through the city.
On the outskirts of Autun you'll find a roundabout with signs "Luzy/Étang sur Arroux N81". Follow these signs and stay on the N81 in the direction of Luzy (do not follow the sign "Laizy") - about 15 minutes later you will pass through the hamlet "Les Quatre Vents".
After this hamlet and after the layby on the left, look out for the sign and a narrow lane to the left market "Fontaine la Mère". You will almost immediately see our Bed and Breakfast residence on your left.
