The hilly landscape in and arround the Arroux-valley lends its self to pleasant cycling tours for both beginners and advanced cyclists. It is very nice to ride to Autun by bicycle, a challenging tour of at least 15 miles, or to visit St. Leger sous Beuvray, St Didier or one of the fishing lakes. The bicycles are at your disposal to be used during your stay at Fontaine la Mère. 

The hiking possibilities in the Morvan are almost endless. We have several hiking tours ready for you from 3 miles (2 hours) up to 18 miles. Highly recommended is the Boucle du Mont Beuvray which leads you to the Celtic museum Bibracte.

On arrival you'll receive usefull information about the surroundings together with cycling and hiking routes.  During your stay you may freely use one of our bicycles with gears.
